Tell about yourself, Carlos!
I was born an raised in Ashtabula Ohio. I have family in the states an in Puerto Rico too. I grow up in a rough area with out a lot of opportunities so i left home when I was 15 years old to try give myself a better life than the streets.
I’ve been on my own it was a rough time in my life an felt like I had no one but I kept pushing for the best. I’m a hard worker an dedicated an always put 100 percent into anything I do with passion. I have four kids who helped me strive to process with a dream that I only thought was a dream.
So when I had the opportunity to be on FAST 8 that made things so much easier for the passion I had to keep going an I have done few other films too. I met MR.Fike on set of Serving Compton an we got to talking about stunts an he invited me to come train with them.
Now I’m working on trying get my SAG card.
What inspired you to become a stunt person?
I love learning new things and having fun at same time and the person who inspired me and who was willing take a chance in me.
Mr. Fike saw something in me an invited me to come train an he seem potential and I been training with Stunt Preditors USA for few years now they are my family.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a story behind it?
I’m still learning more and more and I love all aspects of stunts.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
Going out there and being apart of a team an being apart of making a great film that millions of people will see an enjoy.
What advice would you give other stunt people?
Always follow your passion and don’t let anything stop you.
