What inspired you to become a stunt person?
My biggest aspiration for becoming a stunt performer was my passion to be a storyteller of violence. My philosophy is that every punch, kick, stab, ect... has a specific story to tell and it is all about finding the right technique that helps convey the story that is being told.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a story behind it?
One skill I find to be very valuable as a stunt performer especially for fighting is 'third eye awareness’ or the ability to know where the camera is at all times and how to save a take if choreograph, blocking, or spacing gets a little off so then the take can be saved and maybe used.
What advice would you give other stunt people?
I feel like I am still young in the stunt game but... to folks starting out in the stunt game: always enter with a glass empty mentality.
Every set your on gives you the opportunity to learn something new and no matter how long you have been in the game there is always a chance to learn something new.
