Bill Williams II

“Bronco Buster”(1952), “The Alamo”(1960).
Died performing a routine stunt with a colleague during The Hallelujah Trail (1965) production. The stunt called for Williams and fellow-rider to guide a horse-drawn wagon toward a cliff. As the horses separated, both men were supposed to jump clear as the wagon continued on over the cliff. Williams did not manage to jump clear and so perished performing the stunt.
