Mike Reid was born on January 19, 1940 in Hackney, London, England as Michael Reid. He is known for his work on Snatch (2000), EastEnders (1985) and Doctor Who: Dimensions in Time (1993). He was married to Shirley Collins and Sheila Reid. He died on July 29, 2007 in Marbella, Spain.
The character Dave Angel, Eco-Warrior portrayed by Simon Day on BBC's The Fast Show (1994), is based on Mike Reid's character from EastEnders (1985). He wrote an autobiography titled T'rific. Became a father for the second time at age 21 when his first wife Sheila gave birth to their daughter Jane Hall in December 1961.
